Founded in 1924, Univar USA is the leading distributor of food ingredients, industrial chemicals and related services in the United States. It is a subsidiary of Univar, one of the world’s leading independent distributors of industrial chemicals and providers of related specialty services, operating throughout the US, Canada and 20 European countries. Univar's 2008 sales were approximately $9.41 billion.
